Nestled at the foothills of the Wairoa Valley, just south of Auckland, NZ Warbirds at Ardmore is one Auckland’s true gems. Here you will get up close and personal with working history with an unrestricted view of our operational and static aircraft. Explore the various display boards, squadron histories and diorama displays as well as our engine room, extensive model collection and aviation memorabilia.
NZ Warbirds at Ardmore features two hangars which showcases a small part of the association’s collection of airworthy and static aircraft.
With over 20 aircraft types on display spanning over some 100 years of aviation history, NZ Warbirds at Ardmore enables the aviation-minded public to view these former service and historic aircraft up close and personal from various viewpoints.
The number and types on show vary depending on airshow, training and maintenance commitments. Weekends are the peak of flying activity.

GETTING HERE & PARKING
NZ Warbirds at Ardmore is located at Ardmore Airport, 35 minutes from the Auckland CBD and 10 minutes from the Takanini Southern Motorway off ramp. You can reach Ardmore by car or Uber or you can take a train or bus to Papakura and then taxi or Uber to Ardmore Airport. There is plenty of free parking available for cars or coaches.
