Keep ’em Flying
As a not-for-profit organisation, NZ Warbirds depends heavily upon its members and the public to provide the necessary funding to pursue the main aim of ‘Keep ‘Em Flying’, providing for educational development, hangarage and maintenance so that the New Zealand public will continue to experience our flying heritage.
The cost of doing so becomes an increasing burden every year as these aircraft grow older and additional maintenance is required. Additionally, as the pilots with the much-needed skills to fly these aircraft become increasingly scarce, it is imperative we train a new breed of pilot who will be able to fly these aircraft safely and to present them in a manner befitting their original role.
