We have been a group of passionate individuals dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of historic ex-military and classic aircraft in flying condition. Our mission is to ‘Keep ‘Em Flying’ for the enjoyment and education of present and future New Zealanders.
We are the national umbrella body responsible for the safe management and operation of ex-military and classic aircraft in New Zealand. Nationwide, we are an active group of involved participants who provide the wide range of skills and support necessary to maintain and operate these historic machines.
How you can support us
Aircraft don’t get old, they get maintained. Some components last forever, some others such as engines have a limited life. Funds raised are used to keep the various Warbirds maintained to the highest of standards so that New Zealanders can continue to enjoy airshow displays of important items from our history.
You may donate to the general fund, or to a particular aeroplane or activity. Contact the NZ Warbirds office for details.
