This aircraft now resides at the Ashburton Aviation Museum but for a number of years resided at NZ Warbirds at Ardmore.
It has been modified to have a 14-cylinder Pratt & Whitney R2000 rated at 1450 HP (not the 9-cylinder Wright R-1820 Cyclone typical for the type).

A great day was had by all on Sunday with hundreds turning out at the Classic Flyers NZ Aero day at Tauranga. On show was a range of static aircraft with air displays from the Yak-52 formation team, the Roaring Forties and RNZAF Black Falcons. Thank you to photographer Paul who sent these through.
