Things to Know
Do I have to wear a mask?
It is no longer mandatory to wear a mask to view our indoor collection, however as per Government advice, masks are encouraged.
Are you contact tracing?
In line with changes made on April 4th, NZ Warbirds will not be using contact tracing.
Does NZ Warbirds at Ardmore have any additional cleaning procedures?
Yes, as well as our regular cleaning, we are ensuring frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces, such as handrails and handles. As our aviation collection is operational and surfaces complex, we are unable to keep the surfaces of our aircraft sanitised, so please do not touch any of our display collection. Additional wall mounted sanitiser units have been added to entrance ways for you your use.
How are you handling payments?
We will currently only be accepting contactless payments for entrance and our merchandise shop; no cash payments will be accepted.
Will your merchandise shop be open?
Our shop will be open, stocked with a great selection of books, gifts, both adult and children’s clothing and kitsets and children’s toys. All purchases made help support NZ Warbirds Association as we are a registered charity, and helps to ‘Keep ‘em Flying’.
What days and hours are we open?
We are staffed by a small team of volunteers and during current Covid levels we will only be open Saturdays and Sundays between 10:30am – 3:00pm.
Is proof of vaccination required?
In line with changes made on April 4th, NZ Warbirds does not require proof of vaccination.
